Building Your Business: Hear From the Expert is ABC’s bi-monthly roundtable series designed to give construction leaders practical, real-world insight from trusted industry specialists. Each session focuses on strategies contractors can apply immediately to strengthen their businesses.

In this one-hour session presented by Bukaty Companies, E-Mod Explained, contractors will gain a clear understanding of how the workers’ compensation experience modifier (E-Mod) is calculated and how it impacts workers’ comp costs. MEM will walk through the NCCI E-Mod worksheet step by step—defining key terms, explaining calculations, and breaking down the purpose of each worksheet column. Participants will also review the NCCI ABCs of Experience Rating and discuss key risk management practices that can influence a company’s final experience modifier.
