We’re closing out summer in the best way we know how—BBQ and great company!

Join ABC for a day of mouthwatering BBQ, unbeatable networking, and giving back — all to support our Pre-Apprenticeship Program! Help us close out summer while investing in the future construction workforce.

 

🔥 BBQ Contest Team (5:30AM Set Up):

Gather your crew (up to 4 per team) and enter the BBQ Competition! Teams will compete in a Blind Box turn-in of ribs and chicken — plus battle it out for the coveted People’s Choice Award. Competitors may serve their BBQ of choice for the tasting portion, but must provide samples for attendees to vote. View the rules here.


🏆 Cornhole Team (11AM to 3PM):

Grab a partner and join the fun! Teams of two will compete in a friendly cornhole tournament during the event. All skill levels welcome—whether you're a backyard pro or just in it for the laughs. Entry includes tournament play, bragging rights, and a chance at prizes!


🎟️ Tasting Ticket (11AM to 3PM):
Support the cause and join us with a Tasting Ticket! Sample BBQ from competing teams, cast your vote for the People’s Choice Winner and network with fellow industry professionals. Proceeds go directly to funding pre-apprenticeship opportunities.

Are you a fan of great BBQ? We’re currently looking for judges to help evaluate this year’s entries. Short training session will be provided just prior!
