OSHA 10 Hour: Construction

Description

The OSHA 10-Hour Training caters to construction personnel, such as foremen, superintendents, engineers, and those engaged in underground projects. According to OSHA 29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2), employers must educate their employees on recognizing and averting unsafe conditions specific to their work environment. This training program fulfills this requirement by imparting comprehensive safety knowledge. 

Training topics covered:

 • Introduction to OSHA 

• OSHA Focus Four Hazards 

• Fall Protection • Electrical Safety

• Hazards from Struck Objects (like falling items, vehicular risks, cranes)

• Hazards involving Caught in/Between (such as trench hazards and equipment risks)

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Life-Saving Gear

• Health Hazards relevant to Construction • Trenching & Excavation Safety

• Confined Spaces Requiring Permits

• Two Hours of Elective Topics (chosen based on class agreement) 


*The training spans two days, as mandated by OSHA, to ensure thorough coverage and understanding of these crucial safety aspects. 

*Classes will be held 8am to 4pm on the first day and 8am to 12pm on the second day. 

*Both classes must be attended for certification Registration Details: Preferred registration date: Seven days prior to session date Price includes: various course materials, certification card. If you must cancel for any reason, please contact us immediately. Cancellations received less than 7 days of the start of class cannot be refunded; substitutions are permitted. 

*Note: STEP pricing discount available to current STEP members. STEP application must be submitted and approved prior to receiving discounted pricing.
